About the Model

I love being an art model, because I find it to be an opportunity for my creative energies to flow. I often find myself thinking about art projects that I want to do, while standing in a room full of artists who are drawing, or painting me. There is something special to be able to feel the energy of the people around you.

Not everyone can be on display, but I am uninhibited when it comes to modeling.

I have been modeling for artists of all types since 1995. During this time I have been able to anticipate what artists need from their model–whether it be dynamic poses, simple, or somewhere in between. I can do very short gestural poses, 30 seconds to 10 min, long poses lasting between 10 and 60 minutes, or slow moving dances where I continually change my position in soft flowing movements.

My name is Su, I use she/her pronouns, and am a transgender woman.

I am 5′ 9″ with short black hair and tan skin. During the warm months I typically have various tan lines. As a long distance runner I am lean and fit and weight around 130 pounds. Artists I have worked for have described me as being very talented and emotive, and can hold remarkably still for long periods of time.

I live in the Boston area, and have my own transportation. I typically will accept jobs as far north as Newburyport, as far west as Worcester, and south to Providence. I have been known to work outside these areas depending on the project and pay.
